Hello Parents!

Chapter 4 test should be signed and returned as soon as possible.

Permission slips for our field trip to SUMA @SUU, Monday, November 18th, went home Tuesday. They need to be signed and returned by Friday.

Our class is filling two shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. We will be filling a box for a girl and one for a boy. If you would like to donate a non-liquid or nonperishable item, I would greatly appreciate it. It also costs $8 (I think) to ship the boxes. If you would like to donate money for this, you may.

Here's What's Happening in...

MATH:
We have started Chapter 5: Dividing with decimals. Students will learn how to divide with decimals in the dividend and the divisor.

CKLA:
We are continuing our unit on poetry. Students will be writing and reading different types of poetry. We will write a concrete poem, a poem with a rhyming scheme, as well as use metaphors and similes.

SCIENCE:
We will finish our unit on Chemistry and will test on Thursday.
